Technical intern trainees undergo a rigorous selection process by the sending organization before entering the country. The selection criteria mainly consist of the following four points: - Ability test - Physical fitness test - Interview - Health examination After successfully passing the selection process, the candidates proceed to pre-training. Once the technical intern trainees enter Japan, they will study Japanese language and general knowledge about life in Japan (including manners, cleaning, etc.) at a vocational training school for several months (more than 4 months) to prepare for their practical training in Japan.
